NBC LAUNCHES 3 MONTH WEKA UPEWE SAVINGS PROMOTION TO CELEBRATE CUSTOMERS

As part of its efforts to celebrate customers and the Customer Service Month, The National Bank of Commerce (NBC), has today launched an exciting three month Savings promotion dubbed, “Weka Upewe”. 

The campaignwhich was launched at NBC Head Office in Dar es Salaam, aims at not only celebrating NBC customers for their patronage, but also to encourage a savings culture among NBC customers and clients.
 
Speaking during the campaign Launch, NBC Head of Marketing, Communications and Corporate Affairs, Ms. Mwinda Kiula-Mfugale said, “We are excited to launch this great promotion which will see customers win from a variety of prizes every month between now and the end of the year.” 

She added, “ We are always looking at ways to reward our customers for the business we do together, and this year, which is no different from last year, we will give away great prizes to lucky winners who practice saving, by depositing into their accounts. This year our Grand prize will be a Brand New 2013 Suzuki Swift.”

Also commenting on the campaign, NBC’s Head of Affluent and Liabilities, Andrew Massawe said, “We like to encourage our customers to save for their future, and this promotion aims to deliver just that.” He added, “With the current economic situation, it is imperative that our customers learn how to budget and save for what they want, if they are meet their financial responsibilities with ease”.nHi

The three month long promotion will see six winners in a month winning exciting prizes including electricity generators, and motorbikes. Eligibility to enter the promotion requires a customer to open and deposit into their Malengo Savings Account or to open and deposit into a one year Fixed Deposits Account. The promotion is open to both existing and new customers.

The promotion comes at a time when the bank is running a Customer Service Month campaign, which aims to gather customer feedback and offer additional fringe benefits when customers visit NBC branches for their transactions. The campaign which was launched across all NBC branches on 1st October 2013 will culminate at the end of the month.
